Music Box Films Sets Digital Streaming Date for FREMONT

Music Box Films has announced the streaming date for its comedy/drama FREMONT, which will arrive on digital and VOD platforms on October 10th, 2023. The film premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and debuted in limited release in US theaters on August 25th.

Fremont tells the story of Donya (Anaita Wali Zada) a lonely Afghan refugee and former translator, who spends her 20s drifting through a meager existence in Fremont, California. Shuttling between her job writing fortunes for a fortune cookie factory and sessions with her eccentric therapist, Donya suffers from insomnia and survivor's guilt over those still left behind in Kabul as she desperately searches for love. The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White plays her love interest.
