MUBI Sets Streaming Premiere Date, Releases Trailer, Poster for Cannes Prize Winner GRAND TOUR

MUBI has set a streaming premiere date for its Cannes prize winning adventure GRAND TOUR, which will begin streaming on their platform on April 18th, 2025. The film will launch in US theaters in limited release on March 28th, 2025.
Grand Tour is co-written and directed by Miguel Gomes, and stars Gonçalo Waddington and Crista Alfaiate.
The film world premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, and was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or in its main competition section, where Gomes won the Best Director award. It was also selected as the Portuguese entry for Best International Feature Film at the 97th Academy Awards, but was not nominated.
The film’s story is as follows: In 1917 Burma (now Myanmar), a British diplomat is set to marry his fiancée, but after a sudden panic, escapes to Singapore, sending her on what evolves into a chase across Asia.
