Update: MAXXXINE Digital Streaming Release Date Moved Up

A24 is expected to release their slasher sequel MAXXXINE on VOD and digital platforms next month, arriving on August 13th, 2024 August 2nd, 2024. The film launched in US theaters on July 5th, 2024.

MaXXXine was written, directed, produced and edited by Ti West. It is the third installment in West's X film series and a direct sequel to 2022’s X. The film stars Mia Goth, who reprises her role as Maxine Minx, alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
The film is set in 1980s Hollywood, where adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.
