Max Kicks Off A24 Partnership With Streaming Premiere Date for DICKS: THE MUSICAL

Max and A24 will inaugurate their new partnership with the streaming premiere of the bawdy comedy DICKS: THE MUSICAL, which will launch on the Max platform on February 2nd, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival before debuting in US theaters on October 6th.

Dicks: The Musical was directed by Larry Charles, based on the off-Broadway musical Fucking Identical Twins by Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson. The film stars Sharp and Jackson as a pair of identical twins who plot to reunite their divorced parents.

With this announcement, it looks like Max’s window will be much shorter for A24 titles, which didn’t arrive on the Paramount+ w/Showtime platform until around 8 months after their theatrical premiere.
