John Woo’s Remake of (His Own) THE KILLER Sets Digital Streaming Release Date

Universal Pictures will release the John Woo action thriller THE KILLER on VOD and digital platform’s later this month, arriving on February 25th, 2025. The film launched last year on Peacock on August 23rd, 2024.
The Killer is directed by John Woo and is a remake of the 1989 film of the same name. It stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Omar Sy, Sam Worthington, Diana Silvers, Saïd Taghmaoui and Hugo Diego Garcia. It was co-written by Matthew Stuecken, Josh Campbell, and Brian Helgeland.
In the film, Zee is a mysterious and infamous assassin known, and feared, in the Parisian underworld as the Queen of the Dead. But when Zee refuses to kill a blinded young woman in a Paris nightclub, the decision will disintegrate her alliances, attract the attention of a savvy police investigator, and plunge her into a sinister criminal conspiracy that will set her on a collision course with her own past.
