Jesse Eisenberg’s A REAL PAIN Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

Searchlight Pictures is set to release their comedy drama A REAL PAIN on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on December 31st, 2024. The film world premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival before launching in US theaters on November 1st, 2024.

A Real Pain is written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg and stars Eisenberg, Kieran Culkin, Will Sharpe, Jennifer Grey, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadovy, and Daniel Oreskes. Emma Stone serves as a producer under her Fruit Tree banner.

In the film, mismatched cousins, David and Benji, reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the pair's old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

A Real Pain has been nominated for 4 Golden Globe Awards® including Best Picture, Best Actor Jesse Eisenberg, Best Supporting Actor Kieran Culkin and Best Screenplay. The film won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
