IN A VIOLENT NATURE Gets Shudder Streaming Premiere Date

The IFC Films horror hit IN A VIOLENT NATURE is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Shudder on September 13th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival before launching in US theaters on May 31st, 2024. It hit VOD/Digital on June 28th.

In a Violent Nature is a Canadian slasher written and directed by Chris Nash, and stars Ry Barrett, Andrea Pavlovic, and Lauren-Marie Taylor. Described as an "ambient slasher", it follows a mute killer who is accidentally resurrected from his grave in the Ontario wilderness by a group of teenagers, whom he then begins stalking and murdering. The events depicted are largely observed from the killer's perspective.

The film has become one of IFC Films’ 10 highest grossing films of all time. A sequel to the film is in development.
