IFC Films’ THE ORIGIN OF EVIL Sets Digital Streaming Release Date

IFC Films will release the twisty French thriller THE ORIGIN OF EVIL on digital platforms on October 13th, 2023. The film premiered at the 2022 Venice Film Festival, and arrived in US theaters on September 22nd.
The Origin of Evil has been described as a French Knives Out. The film stars Laure Calamy as Stéphane, a fish cannery worker who discovers that she is the biological daughter of wealthy businessman Serge (Jacques Weber), and is introduced to his established family despite their unwillingness to accept her.
