IFC FIlms is set to release their British horror thriller STOPMOTION on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on March 15th, 2024. The film world-premiered at the 2023 Fantastic Fest before arriving in US theaters on February 23rd, 2024.

Stopmotion is a live-action/adult animated horror film directed by Robert Morgan in his feature-length debut. Morgan also wrote the script with Robin King. The film stars Aisling Franciosi (The Nightingale, The Last Voyage of the Demeter) and combines live action and stop motion animation.

In the film, Ella Blake, a stop-motion animator struggling to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother, embarks upon the creation of a film that becomes the battleground for her sanity. As Ella’s mind starts to fracture, the characters in her project take on a life of their own.
