IFC Films Sets Digital Streaming Release Date for Acclaimed Drama ARMAND

IFC Films is set to release their acclaimed drama ARMAND on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on March 21st, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section, where it won the Caméra d'Or for Best First Feature Film. It launched in US theaters on February 7th, 2025.
Armand is written and directed by Norwegian filmmaker Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel, in his feature directorial debut, and stars Renate Reinsve, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Endre Hellestveit, Thea Lambrechts Vaulen, Øystein Røger, and Vera Veljovic.
In the film, Armand, a 6-year-old boy, is accused of crossing boundaries against his best friend at elementary school. While no one knows what actually happened between the two boys, the incident triggers a series of events, forcing parents and school staff into a captivating battle of redemption where madness, desire and obsession arise.
