Historical Drama CABRINI Gets Digital Retail Streaming Premiere Date
Angel Studios is set to release their historical drama CABRINI on digital retail platforms, arriving on June 25th, 2024. The film debuted in US theaters on March 8th, 2024, before launching on Angel Studios’ streaming service on April 26th.
Cabrini was directed by Alejandro Gómez Monteverde and written by Rod Barr, based on a story by both. The film stars Christiana Dell’Anna, Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, John Lithgow, Jeremy Bobb, Jonathan Sanger, Montserrat Espadalé, David Morse, Patch Darragh, Virginia Bocelli, Andrew Polk, Rolando Villazón, and Romana Maggiora Vergano.
Italian immigrant Francesca Cabrini arrives in 1889 New York City and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children. Cabrini sets off on a daring mission to convince the hostile mayor to secure housing and healthcare for society's most vulnerable. With broken English and poor health, Cabrini uses her entrepreneurial mind to build an empire of hope unlike anything the world had ever seen.
