Helen Mirren Drama WHITE BIRD Sets Starz Streaming Premiere Date

The coming-of-age drama WHITE BIRD is set to make its SVOD debut later this year, arriving on Starz on March 30th, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on October 4th, 2024, before hitting PVOD on November 1st, 2024.
White Bird (marketed with the subtitle A Wonder Story) is directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay by Mark Bomback, based on the 2019 graphic novel of the same name by R. J. Palacio. Serving as both a prequel and sequel to 2017’s Wonder, the film stars Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwerdt, Bryce Gheisar, Gillian Anderson, and Helen Mirren, with Gheisar reprising his role as Julian from Wonder.
In the film, after being expelled from Beecher Prep for his treatment of a classmate with a facial deformity, Julian has struggled to fit in at his new school. To transform his life, Julian's grandmother finally reveals her own story of courage of her youth in Nazi-occupied France, where a classmate shelters her from mortal danger.
