Focus Features Unveils Official Trailer for Wes Anderson’s THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME

Focus Features has released the official trailer for their upcoming espionage thriller THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME, which will launch in US theaters on May 30th, 2025. The film is widely predicted to world premiere at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, though no announcement has been made.

The Phoenician Scheme is directed by Wes Anderson from a script he wrote with Roman Coppola. The film features an ensemble cast including Benicio del Toro, Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Riz Ahmed, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Rupert Friend, Hope Davis, Imad Mardnli and Benedict Cumberbatch.

The film is said to be a dark tale of espionage following a strained father-daughter relationship within a family business.
