Apple has announced an SVOD launch date for their summer historical romance FLY ME TO THE MOON, which will begin streaming on Apple TV+ on December 6th 2024. The film launched in US theaters via Sony Pictures on July 12th, 2024.

Fly Me to the Moon was directed by Greg Berlanti from a screenplay by Rose Gilroy, based on a story by Bill Kirstein and Keenan Flynn. The film stars Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum in the lead roles, also with Jim Rash, Anna Garcia, Donald Elise Watkins, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Christian Zuber, Nick Dillenburg, Ray Romano, and Woody Harrelson.

Sparks fly in all directions as marketing maven Kelly Jones, brought in to fix NASA's public image, wreaks havoc on Apollo 11 launch director Cole Davis' already difficult task of putting a man on the moon. When the White House deems the mission too important to fail, Jones is directed to stage a fake moon landing as backup, and the countdown truly begins.
