Disaster Comedy Y2K Digital Streaming Release Date Revealed

According to our sources, A24 is expected to release their disaster comedy Y2K on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on December 24th, 2024. The film world premiered at this year’s South By Southwest Festival before launching in US theaters on December 6th, 2024.

Please note: A24 has neither announced nor confirmed the release date. As always, release dates are subject to change.

Y2K is directed by Kyle Mooney in his feature directorial debut, and written by Mooney and Evan Winter. It stars Jaeden Martell, Rachel Zegler, Julian Dennison, Fred Durst, and Alicia Silverstone.

In the film, on the last night of 1999, two high school juniors crash a New Year's Eve party, only to find themselves fighting for their lives.
