Janus Films has quietly released their summer drama AFIRE on streaming platforms, launching today, October 17th, 2023, on VOD and digital. The film opened in US theaters in limited release on July 14th.

Afire world-premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, where it won the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize. It’s been a critical darling here in the US, earning near universal positive reviews. The film stars Thomas Shubert, Paula Beer, Langston Uibel, and Enno Trebs.

The film will make its way to the Criterion Channel soon, but no world yet on a specific launch date.

We’ve added the release date to our streaming calendar.
