Award-Winning MEMOIR OF A SNAIL Sets AMC+ Streaming Premiere Date

IFC Films’ award-winning stop-motion animated film MEMOIR OF A SNAIL is set to make its SVOD debut early next year, arriving on the AMC+ streaming platform on January 17th, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival and launched in US theaters on October 25th, 2024. It arrived on VOD and digital on November 26th, 2024.
Memoir of a Snail was written, produced and directed by Adam Elliot. It stars the voices of Sarah Snook, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Eric Bana, Magda Szubanski, Dominique Pinon, Tony Armstrong, Paul Capsis, Nick Cave, and Jacki Weaver.
In the film, in 1970s Australia, Grace's life is troubled by misfortune and loss. After their mother dies during pregnancy, she and her twin brother, Gilbert, are raised by their paraplegic-alcoholic former juggler father, Percy. Despite a life filled with love, tragedy strikes anew when Percy passes away in his sleep. The siblings are forcibly separated and thrust into separate homes.
