ANORA Digital Streaming Release Date Confirmed

NEON is set to release their Palme d’Or-winning film ANORA on VOD and digital platforms this week, arriving tomorrow, December 17th, 2024. The film world premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival before launching in US theaters on October 18th, 2024.
Anora was written, directed, and edited by Sean Baker. It stars Mikey Madison, Mark Eydelshteyn, Yura Borisov, Karren Karagulian, Vache Tovmasyan, and Aleksei Serebryakov.
In the film, Anora, a young sex worker from Brooklyn, gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as the parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.
In addition to winning the top prize at Cannes, Anora has also been nominated for 5 Golden Globes, including Best Picture - Musical/Comedy, Best Actress - Musical/Comedy (Madison), Best Supporting Actor (Borisov), Best Director and Best Screenplay.
