Acclaimed Italian Drama VERMIGLIO Digital Streaming Release Date Revealed

According to our sources, Janus Films/Sideshow are expected to release their acclaimed Italian drama VERMIGLIO on VOD and digital platforms early next month, arriving on March 4th, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, where it won the Grand Jury Prize, and launch in US theaters in limited release on December 25th, 2024.

Vermiglio is written, co-produced and directed by Maura Delpero. It stars Tommaso Ragno, Giuseppe De Domenico, Roberta Rovelli, Martina Scrinzi, Orietta Notari, and Carlotta Gamba.

Set in the small, mountainous village of Vermiglio during the waning days of WWII, a series of dramatic, consequential events unfold after the arrival of a taciturn Sicilian soldier, who hides out in town after deserting the army. While there, the soldier develops a romance with a provincial family’s eldest daughter.
