Acclaimed Documentary 20 DAYS IN MARIUPOL Gets PBS Premiere Date

The acclaimed documentary 20 DAYS IN MARIUPOL will make its television premiere on PBS’s Frontline series, debuting on November 21st, 2023 at 10P EST (check local listings, times may vary). The film will be available to stream on the PBS platform and launch for sale next day on digital platforms.

20 Days in Mariupol was directed by Mstyslav Chernov and tells the story of the twenty days Chernov spent with his colleagues in besieged Mariupol after Russia began its invasion of Ukraine. Chernov compiled footage that he collected in Mariupol together with the team from Frontline and the Associated Press. 

The film premiered on January 20th at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival where it won the Sundance World Cinema Documentary Competition. It was selected as the Ukrainian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.
