Netflix has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming fantasy adventure sequel TROLL 2, which will begin streaming on their platform on December 1st, 2025.
Troll 2 is directed by Roar Uthaug and stars Ine Marie Wilmann, Kim Falck, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, and Sara Khorami.
Following the smashing success of Troll, which became the most popular non-English language film on Netflix with 103 million views when it was released in 2021, Troll 2 finds the Norwegian armed forces facing a new threat. This time, however, they’ve come prepared with UV light-powered machinery to get the job done. Whether that will be enough to stop an enormous creature made of stone and earth remains to be seen.
