Netflix has released the first teaser trailer and poster for their sports drama THE MOSQUITO BOWL which will arrive in US theaters on October 30th, 2026, before launching on Netflix on November 25th, 2026.
The Mosquito Bowl is directed by Peter Berg, who adapted the screenplay (with Mark L. Smith) from the Buzz Bissinger book The Mosquito Bowl: A Game of Life and Death in World War II. It stars Nicholas Galitzine, Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson, and Tom Francis.
In the film, after the attack on Pearl Harbor, four of America’s top college football stars set their fame aside to enlist in the Marines. As they prepare for the brutal invasion of Okinawa, they play in a legendary game featuring some of the greatest players in history – a game that, for many, will be the last they ever play.
