NEON has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming horror thriller HOKUM, which will launch in US theaters on May 1st, 2026. The film is set to world premiere at the upcoming SXSW Festival.
Hokum is written and directed by Damian McCarthy, and stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Will O’Connell, Michael Patric, Siox C, Brendan Conroy, Austin Amelio, and Ezra Carlisle.
In the film, when novelist Ohm Bauman retreats to a remote inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, he is consumed by tales of a witch haunting the honeymoon suite. Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance forces him to confront dark corners of his past.
