Nadav Lapid’s YES Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

Kino Lorber is set to release their acclaimed comedy drama YES on VOD and digital platforms next month, arriving on May 12th, 2026. The film had its world premiere in the Directors’ Fortnight section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and launched in US theaters on March 27th, 2026.

Yes is written and directed by Nadav Lapid, and stars Ariel Bronz, Efrat Dor, Naama Preis, Aleksei Serebryakov and Sharon Alexander.

In the film, in the days following October 7, Y., a jazz musician, and his wife Yasmin, a dancer, resolve to say yes to everything. Y. and Yasmin sell their bodies and souls to the highest bidder, surrendering themselves and their art to Israel’s social, political and military elite. Soon, Y. is entrusted with a mission of the utmost importance: to compose the music for a rousing, ruthless new national anthem.
