Magenta Light Studios is set to release their action thriller PROTECTOR on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on April 21st, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2025 Busan International Film Festival before launching in US theaters on March 6th, 2026.
Protector is directed by Adrian Grünberg and written by Bong-Seob Mun. It stars Milla Jovovich, Matthew Modine, D. B. Sweeney, Don Harvey, Arica Himmel, Isabel Myers, and Michael Stahl-David.
In the film, former war hero Nikki’s peaceful life is shattered when her daughter is kidnapped. Thrust into the criminal underworld while hunted by cops and military, she must fight to rescue her child.
