According to our sources, Focus Features is expected to release their drama MIDWINTER BREAK on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on March 10th, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on February 20th, 2026.

Midwinter Break is directed by Polly Findlay, and is based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Bernard MacLaverty. It stars Lesley Manville and Ciarán Hinds.
In the film, longtime retired couple Stella and Gerry realize that their relationship has reached a crossroads while on holiday in Amsterdam. After so much time and so many memories, long-held promises and deeply concealed wounds threaten to come to light and force them to confront their future.
