According to our sources, the Independent Film Company is expected to release their drama THE SUN NEVER SETS on VOD and digital platforms next month, arriving on October 13th, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2026 SXSW Festival before launching in US theaters in limited release on August 28th, 2026.

The Sun Never Sets is written, directed, produced, and edited by Joe Swanberg, and stars Dakota Fanning, Jake Johnson, Cory Michael Smith, Debby Ryan, Anna Konkle, Lamorne Morris and Karley Sciortino.
In the film, Wendy’s life is thrown into chaos when her boyfriend, Jack, who is older and divorced with children, insists they take space to evaluate the relationship. During their break, Wendy runs into her ex, Chuck, forcing them into a volatile triangle.
