According to our sources, Greenwich Entertainment is expected to release their romantic comedy FANTASY LIFE on VOD and digital platforms early next month, arriving on May 8th, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival (where it won the Narrative Feature Audience Award) before launching in US theaters on March 27th, 2026.

Fantasy Life is written and directed by Matthew Shear, in his directorial debut, and stars Amanda Peet, Shear, Alessandro Nivola, Judd Hirsch, Bob Balaban, Andrea Martin, Zosia Mamet, Jessica Harper, Holland Taylor and Sheng Wang.
In the film, an anxious law school dropout (Matthew Shear) stumbles into a job babysitting his psychiatrist’s three granddaughters and falls for the girls’ mother (Amanda Peet), an actress in a rocky marriage.
