A24’s acclaimed comedy-drama IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on HBO Max on January 30th, 2026. The film world premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival before launching in US theaters on October 10th, 2025. It hit PVOD on November 18th, 2025.
If I Had Legs I’d Kick You is written and directed by Mary Bronstein. It stars Rose Byrne, Conan O’Brien, Danielle Macdonald, Christian Slater and ASAP Rocky.
In the film, with her life crashing down around her, Linda attempts to navigate her child’s mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her therapist.
Byrne’s performance has received universal acclaim, winning the Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, and nominations for a Golden Globe Award and Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress. She was also named Best Actress by the New York Film Critics Circle, The Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and The National Board of Review.
