According to our sources, NEON is expected to release their horror mystery HOKUM on VOD and digital platforms early next month, arriving on June 2nd, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2026 SXSW Festival before launching in US theaters on May 1st, 2026.

Hokum is written and directed by Damian McCarthy, and stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Will O’Connell, Michael Patric, Siox C, Brendan Conroy, Austin Amelio, and Ezra Carlisle.
In the film, when novelist Ohm Bauman retreats to a remote inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, he is consumed by tales of a witch haunting the honeymoon suite. Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance forces him to confront dark corners of his past.
