Hockey Drama YOUNGBLOOD Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

Well Go USA is set to release their hockey drama YOUNGBLOOD on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on March 24th, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival before launching in US theaters on March 6th, 2026.

Youngblood is directed by Hubert Davis, and is a contemporary remake of the 1986 Rob Lowe film Youngblood. It stars Ashton James, Blair Underwood, Shawn Doyle, Alexandra McDonald, Henri Picard, Donald MacLean Jr., Olunike Adeliyi, Emidio Lopes and Tamara Podemski.

In the film, raised on grit and hockey by his hardline father, Blane (Blair Underwood), Dean Youngblood (Ashton James) leaves Detroit to join Canada’s Hamilton Mustangs. His elite skill turns heads, but his arrogance earns enemies and keeps him benched by a resentful coach. After a costly clash with rival goon Carl Racki, Dean finds guidance from team captain Sutton and unexpected love with the coach’s daughter. When Racki brutally injures Sutton, Dean faces a defining playoff showdown—and a choice between rage and maturity.
