The Lionsgate Films disaster thriller sequel GREENLAND 2: MIGRATION is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on HBO Max on May 8th, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on January 9th, 2026, and hit PVOD on January 27th, 2026.
Greenland 2: Migration is directed by Ric Roman Waugh and written by Chris Sparling and Mitchell LaFortune. The sequel to 2020’s Greenland, the film stars Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, Roman Griffin Davis, Amber Rose Revah, Gordon Alexander, Peter Polycarpou, William Abadie, and Tommie Earl Jenkins.
In the film, having found the safety of the Greenland bunker after the comet Clarke decimated the Earth, the Garrity family must now risk everything to embark on a perilous journey across the wasteland of Europe to find a new home.
