The Lionsgate gothic horror thriller THE DREADFUL, has quietly made its SVOD debut, arriving today, March 31st, 2026. The film began streaming on VOD and digital platforms on February 20th, 2026, and had a limited theatrical release day-and-date with its digital launch.
The Dreadful is written and directed by Natasha Kermani, and stars Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, and Marcia Gay Harden, and Laurence O’Fuarain.
Set in medieval England, Anne and her domineering mother-in-law Morwen struggle to survive on the outskirts of society. But when a man from Anne’s past returns from war, a curse begins to take shape through a mysterious knight and threatens to destroy them all.
