Lionsgate film has released the official trailer and poster for their upcoming gothic horror thriller THE DREADFUL, which will begin streaming on VOD and digital platforms on February 20th, 2026. The film will have a limited theatrical release day-and-date with its digital launch.
The Dreadful is written and directed by Natasha Kermani, and stars Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, and Marcia Gay Harden, and Laurence O’Fuarain.
Set in medieval England, Anne and her domineering mother-in-law Morwen struggle to survive on the outskirts of society. But when a man from Anne’s past returns from war, a curse begins to take shape through a mysterious knight and threatens to destroy them all.
