According to our sources, NEON is expected to release their horror mystery EXIT 8 on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on April 28th, 2026. The film world premiered at the Midnight Screenings of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, and launched in US theaters on April 10th, 2026.

Exit 8 is directed by Genki Kawamura, who co-wrote the screenplay with Kentaro Hirase. It is based on the 2023 video game The Exit 8 developed by Kotake Create, and stars Kazunari Ninomiya, Yamato Kochi, Naru Asanuma, Kotone Hanase, and Nana Komatsu.
In the film, a man trapped in an endless sterile subway passageway sets out to find Exit 8. The rules of his quest are simple: do not overlook anything out of the ordinary. If you discover an anomaly, turn back immediately. If you don’t, carry on. Then leave from Exit 8. But even a single oversight will send him back to the beginning. Will he ever reach his goal and escape this infinite corridor?
