MUBI has set a streaming premiere date for the Eleanor Coppola documentary MAKING MARIE ANTOINETTE, which will launch on their platform on November 6th, 2026. The film is set to screen at the upcoming New York Film Festival before debuting in US theaters on October 23rd, 2026.
Additionally, a 20th anniversary 4K restoration of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette will also stream on MUBI on November 6th.
Making Marie Antoinette was directed by Eleanor Coppola. Following Eleanor’s death in 2025, the film was finished by Sofia Coppola, who serves as a producer.
