The Bleecker Street Films thriller RELAY is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Netflix on December 19th, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival, and launched in US theaters on August 22nd, 2025. It hit VOD and digital platforms on September 16th.
Relay is produced and directed by David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water) and written by Justin Piasecki. It stars Riz Ahmed, Lily James, and Sam Worthington.
In the film, Tom, a world class “fixer”, specializes in brokering lucrative payoffs between corrupt corporations and the individuals who threaten their ruin. He keeps his identity a secret through meticulous planning and always follows an exacting set of rules. But when a message arrives one day from potential client Sarah, needing Tom’s protection just to stay alive, the rules quickly start to change.
