The 25th anniversary 4K restoration of Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu’s AMORES PERROS is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on MUBI on July 10th, 2026. The restoration world premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival before launching in US theaters on June 12th, 2026.
Amores Perros is produced and directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu (in his feature directorial debut) and written by Guillermo Arriaga, based on a story by both. It stars Emilio Echevarría, Gael García Bernal, Goya Toledo, Álvaro Guerrero, Vanessa Bauche, Jorge Salinas, Adriana Barraza, and Humberto Busto.
Mexico City. A fatal car crash. Three lives collide. A teenager risks it all to run away with his brother’s wife. A model loses everything after moving in with her lover. A homeless man unearths the ghosts of his past. As their stories unfold, human chaos, cruelty, and tenderness come to light – revealing they are more connected than they seem.
