According to our sources, Lionsgate Films is expected to release their Hong Kong action thriller THE FURIOUS on VOD and digital platforms next month, arriving on July 14th, 2026. The film world premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival before launching in US theaters on June 12th, 2026.

The Furious is directed by Kenji Tanigaki and stars Xie Miao, Joe Taslim, Yang Enyou, Brian Le, Brian Le, and Joey Iwanaga.
In the film, after the daughter of Wang Wei (Xie Miao) is kidnapped by a criminal network and he receives no help from the corrupt police, Wei sets out on a rampage to find her himself. His only ally is Navin (Joe Taslim) – a relentless journalist whose wife has mysteriously disappeared. Fueled by a furious vengeance, the unlikely duo ruthlessly fights against the kidnappers in this explosive martial arts showdown.
