According to our sources, Angel Studios is expected to release their action buddy comedy RUNNER on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on October 13th, 2026. The film launched in US theaters on September 11th, 2026.
Please note: Angel Studios has neither announced nor confirmed the release date. As always, release dates are subject to change.
Runner is directed by Scott Waugh and written by Miles Hubley and Tommy White. It stars Alan Ritchson, Owen Wilson, Rodrigo Santoro, Leila George, Adriana Barraza, Sullivan Stapleton, Peta Sergeant, and Geraldine Hakewill.
In the film, a former soldier is thrown into a brutal race against time when a critical medical delivery makes him and his unlikely partner the targets of a ruthless cartel. As the mission spirals into a deadly manhunt, every detour, delay, and bullet pushes them closer to failure. With betrayal closing in from every side, they must survive the chase and deliver their cargo to save the life of a little girl.
