Welcome to When To Stream’s Weekly Tracking Report. Every Friday, we’ll break down the film titles whose first window streaming premieres are still not confirmed. This column will not examine second window SVOD premieres, though we’ll obviously still be tracking and reporting those.
One note: There are hundreds of new films every year, and we’re not able to track or highlight every single one. For now, we concentrate on major studio and larger indie distributor releases. There are titles not here whose streaming release dates we will report when available.

Here are the film titles (in order of theatrical release) we are currently tracking:
Theatrical Release Date: December 19, 2025
Tracking: Fandango indicated the film will launch on digital in March, with a pre-order date expected on 3/24. Disney usually puts their titles up for pre-order one week before launch, so that points to a 3/31 PVOD release date. We’ll post as soon as we have confirmation.

Theatrical Release Date: January 16, 2026
Tracking: MUBI will keep expanding this German drama throughout the rest of the Winter. We’re estimating it’ll hit SVOD and digital in early Spring.

Theatrical Release Date: January 30, 2026
Tracking: Janus Films keeps expanding this Icelandic comedy-drama throughout next month. We’re estimating it’ll hit digital and The Criterion Channel in early Spring.

Tracking: This Best Makeup & Hairstyling Oscar nominee finally hit US screens, but it didn’t make it to digital in time for the ceremony. Pushing back our estimate a bit.

Tracking: This Sony Classics title keeps going in theaters through the Winter. We’re estimating it’ll hit VOD later this month…or possibly early next month.

Tracking: NEON keeps this rolling in theaters, where it’s doing pretty well! We’re estimating a digital release in early Spring.

Tracking: This 20th Century Studios flop will test whether the studio can pivot and fast-track a box-office underachiever to digital. For now…holding on our estimate.

Tracking: Greenwich Entertainment opened this in moderate nationwide release last weekend. Their titles take their time to get to digital, so (for now) we’re estimating it won’t hit VOD until April.

Tracking: Warner Bros second release of the year looks to fall in their usual 30-45 day theatrical window corridor. Estimating accordingly.

Tracking: This Independent Film Company release will likely hit digital after about three weeks in theaters. Should hit Shudder about 2 months later.

Tracking: This Disney/Pixar offering will dominate the family audience until Super Mario Galaxy hits next month. We’re estimating the studio’s usual 60-day window will apply here.

Tracking: Universal’s new home release strategy will go in to effect with this Colleen Hoover adaptation. A 5 weekend window would put it on PVOD in mid April.

Tracking: Bleecker Street Films has been consistently maintaining a 3-4 week window, and we’re estimating this body horror thriller will lean toward the latter.

Tracking: Last summer’s A24 horror title Bring Her Back enjoyed a 31-day theatrical exclusive window, so that’s what we’ll use as a comp here.

Tracking: This Amazon MGM Studios title looks to have a nice long run in theaters before hitting digital. We’re estimating it’ll hit PVOD in time for Memorial Day weekend.

Tracking: A24 opens this Sofia Coppola documentary exclusively in New York this week, with plans to expand nationwide next weekend. We’re expecting it to hit digital towards the end of next month.
