Universal Pictures has released the first trailer and poster for their epic adventure THE ODYSSEY, which will launch in US theaters on July 17th, 2026.
The Odyssey is written, directed, and co-produced by Christopher Nolan. An adaptation of the ancient Greek epic poem Odyssey attributed to Homer, the film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, the king of Ithaca, and chronicles his long and perilous journey home following the Trojan War, as he attempts to reunite with his wife, Penelope.
The ensemble cast also features Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Mia Goth, and Corey Hawkins.
