Vertical Unveils First Trailer, Poster for Justin Kurzel’s THE ORDER

Vertical Entertainment has released the first trailer and poster for their upcoming crime thriller THE ORDER, which will launch in US theaters on December 6th, 2024. The film world premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival, where it received a positive reception.

The Order is directed by Justin Kurzel and written by Zach Baylin, based on the 1989 non-fiction book The Silent Brotherhood by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt. It stars Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Jurnee Smollett, and Marc Maron.

As baffled law enforcement scrambles for answers about a series of increasingly violent bank robberies, counterfeiting operations, and armored car heists through the Pacific Northwest in 1983, a lone FBI agent stationed in the sleepy, picturesque Idaho town of Coeur d’Alene comes to believe the crimes are not the work of traditional, financially motivated criminals, but a group of dangerous domestic terrorists inspired by a radical, charismatic leader plotting a devastating war against the United States government.
