The A24 thriller THE FRONT ROOM is set to make its SVOD debut early next year, arriving on Max on January 3rd, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on September 6th, 2024, before hitting PVOD on September 24th, 2024.

The Front Room was written and directed by the Eggers Brothers in their feature film debut. The film is based on the 2016 short story of the same name by Susan Hill, and stars Brandy, Kathryn Hunter, Andrew Burnap, and Neal Huff.

In the film, everything goes to hell for newly-pregnant Belinda after her mother-in-law moves in. As the diabolical guest tries to get her claws on the child, Belinda must draw the line somewhere.
