Two Sony Pictures Classics titles will finally be arriving on SVOD next week. Both ONE FINE MORNING and RETURN TO SEOUL will launch on Prime Video on January 1st, 2024.

One Fine Morning world premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival before launching in US theaters in limited release on January 27th, 2023, and then on PVOD April 11th. The film was written and directed by Mia Hansen-Løve and stars Léa Seydoux, Pascal Greggory, Melvil Poupaud and Nicole Garcia.

Return To Seoul also world premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, and then launched in limited release in US theaters on February 17th, 2023, before hitting PVOD on April 25th. The film was written and directed by Davy Chou, and stars Ji-Min Park as a 25-year-old French adoptee who travels to South Korea seeking her biological parents.

Sony Pictures Classics foreign titles have often been excluded from Sony’s SVOD deal with Netflix. This announcement is an encouraging sign these important films will have a streaming home beyond their transactional window.
