The Sony Pictures Classics comedy-drama BETWEEN THE TEMPLES is set to make its SVOD debut later this month, arriving on Netflix on December 21st, 2024. The film world premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival before launching in US theaters on August 22nd, 2024. It debuted on PVOD on September 24th, 2024.

Between the Temples was directed by Nathan Silver and written by Silver and C. Mason Wells. The film stars Jason Schwartzman, Carol Kane, Caroline Aaron, Robert Smigel, Madeline Weinstein, Matthew Shear, and Dolly de Leon.

In the film, a cantor in a crisis of faith finds his world turned upside down when his grade school music teacher reenters his life as his new adult bat mitzvah student.
