According to our sources, Paramount Pictures is expected to release their action sequel SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on January 21st, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on December 20th, 2024.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is directed by Jeff Fowler and written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington. Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Idris Elba reprise their roles, with Keanu Reeves joining the cast as Shadow the Hedgehog.

In the film, Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.
