Bleecker Street is expected to release their sci-fi thriller SLINGSHOT on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on September 17th, 2024. The film launched in US theaters on August 30th.

Slingshot was directed by Mikael Håfström and written by R. Scott Adams and Nathan Parker. It stars Casey Affleck, Laurence Fishburne, Emily Beecham, Tomer Kapon, and David Morrissey.

The film follows an elite trio of astronauts aboard a years-long, possibly compromised mission to Saturn’s moon Titan. As the team gears up for a highly dangerous slingshot maneuver that will either catapult them to Titan or into deep space, it becomes increasingly difficult for one astronaut to maintain his grip on reality.
