Toho International is, at long last, has released their Oscar-winning GODZILLA MINUS ONE on VOD and Digital platforms, arriving today, June 1st, 2024. The film is also concurrently launching on Netflix, which was a pleasant surprise.

Godzilla Minus One was written, directed, by Takashi Yamazaki, who also spearheaded the visual effects. The film stars Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Ando and Kuranosuke Sasaki.

Set in postwar Japan, it follows a former kamikaze pilot suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after encountering a giant monster known as "Godzilla".
