No…it was not an April Fool’s Day Joke (we posted on 3/31). Yes…we got it wrong. We thought our source for this date was solid, and it was not. No excuses, though. It’s our mistake, and we take full responsibility for the error.
We’ve removed the title from our streaming calendar and will post when a (legit) release date is announced.
Warner Bros is expected to release their sci-fi epic DUNE: PART TWO on VOD and digital platforms this week, arriving on April 2nd, 2024. The film premiered in US theaters on March 1st, 2024. Please note: Warner Bros has neither announced nor confirmed the release date.
Dune: Part Two was directed and produced by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts. The sequel to 2021’s Dune, it follows Paul Atreides as he unites with the Fremen people of the desert planet Arrakis to wage war against House Harkonnen.
Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem reprise their roles from the first film, with Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, and Souheila Yacoub joining the ensemble cast.
